Sales/Purchasing FAQs

        How do I purchase EasyTracking?

                  Just call Dynamic Design at (800) 993-9626 or (619) 421-8227 and we can walk you thru the internet download process. It's easy, fast (10 minutes total) and most of all, if you have any questions, we're already on the phone to help.

        How do I get started using EasyTracking?    

                  Call us and we can walk you thru the internet download/installation via phone for free at any time that is convenient for you. Just call, we'll help you get started.

Installation FAQs

        How do I install EasyTracking?

                  Call us and we'll walk you thru it.  It's easy, fast (10 minutes total) and most of all, if you have any questions, we're already on the phone to help.

         Can I install EasyTracking on a network?

                  Yes.  We can help you get set up on just about any Windows Environment. Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, ME, and WindowsXP, Vista as well as Windows Server 2000, 2003, 2007. 

        Can I use EasyTracking on my Desktop computer and also have a copy on my laptop for in-the-field use?

                  Yes. Just download/copy the data files to a floppy and import into your laptop. Then when you arrive back from the field, copy the file back onto your network. We can show you how to do this when you call for installation/setup (all provided free of course).

Training FAQs

        Is training provided? 

                 Yes. When you call to request EasyTracking, we set up an installation appointment time that is convenient for you. After the installation (usually takes about 10 minutes to install via the phone), we walk you thru inputting of an actual Property's information from your city, to input the Property data into EasyTracking, so you get a real feel on how to use the software, all while we're on the phone. Once you get the hang of it, you can hang up with us and have at it!

        Is there any cost for training?

                No.  Initial Installation and Training are FREE.  The idea is to get you up and running as quickly and easily as possible, with as little hassle to you as possible (no manuals to read).

Software Features and Capabilities FAQs

       What information can we keep track of for each property?

               You can track Property names, addresses, phone numbers, property Types, Areas, Beats, Active Status, Phase 1 Dates, web site addresses, Managers names, addresses and phone numbers,  Property Management names, addresses and phone numbers, Owners names addresses and phone numbers, CPTED Inspection Histories, Individual Inspection items, check-back dates, Next Inspection Due dates, Calls-for-Service Stats, percentage improvements, Notes for all properties, with dates, names and unlimited lengths, check-back dates for calling back Properties, etc. See our  Sample Screens for a look at several of our main screens for each Property.

       How many properties can we have as a maximum?

              There are no limits to any fields, including no limit to number of properties, length of notes, etc. There are cities/Agencies/Police Departments using EasyTracking that have over 2,000 Properties and counting, so relax and type away =).

       Can we track our properties by City Beat, so we can compare separate regions of the city?

              Yes.  And also you can track them by Property TYPE, so you can compare all the Apartments, compare Mobile homes, compare Mini-Storages, or whichever other Types you have defined for your city (Property Types, as are many features/lists in EasyTracking, are completely and easily customizable by you, so you can include any number of Types for your city).

       Does EasyTracking automatically do the math calculations on calls-for-service statistics?

              Yes.  And also auto-calculated are Calls-For-Service statistics per Beat, per City and per Property Type, so you can easily track all of your reduced Calls-For-Service in many ways, all at the click of the mouse.

       What kinds of reports can we print using EasyTracking?

              There are several reports, see Sample Screen for the screen information, and there are several reports based on that information you see.  We are always encouraging our software users to fax in or email us reports that they would like to be added to the software in future upgrades. Please fax us at (619) 421-9744 or email us as reports@crimefreesoftware.com so we can continue to add even more reports.  (New Reports are included FREE in your free upgrades for two years. If you submit report ideas or any other ideas you may be eligible for extended free upgrades, please email us and we'll discuss your ideas.)

       Can we print labels for properties, management companies and owners?        

              Yes.  Labels can be printing for Properties, Managers, Property Managers and Owners.

       If I have a question, what number and what hours can I call?

              Call us anytime, 24-hrs-a-day, 7-days-a-week, 365-days-a-year at (800) 993-9626 or from outside the USA at (619) 421-8227.  We're always willing to help, answer questions, get feedback or accept new ideas for improvements.  The idea is to make the software better. Your input is very valuable to us, because you are the ones using the software in a real world environment. So any help you give us is very appreciated. Call anytime.

       Is there any cost to support?

             No. Support is FREE. If you have all your questions answered, you will be happy users, and that's what we strive for. So call us anytime.

Update FAQs

      How often do we get updates?

              Updates will be FREE thru the internet. Just once click and you can download the newest/latest upgrade whenever you want. Just click here to go to the UPDATE Page.

      Is there any cost for updates?

              No. Updates are FREE during the 6-month trial period, and FREE for two years after you have paid for the software after the trial period has expired.  And if you contribute any new ideas for reports, additional screen items, etc., you may be eligible for extended period of free updates beyond that.  We're flexible and easy to work with, the idea being always to make the software better.
