February 16th, 2014... We released the newest EasyTracking,Version 2014!  Complete now with External Web for Landlord Self-Registration!  For example, if you have 5,000 People (Landlords, Managers, etc) and Properties in your city, you can have the Landlords/Managers Self-Register and those 5,000 Properties can each enter their information instead of YOU entering 5,000 People and Properties!  Massive savings for the Crime Free Coordinators.

October 15th, 2011.. We released Build 1153 of Version 2011, which adds "Incident Costs" Tab to the Incident Card.  This way you can track/total/list any/all costs associated with a given Incident (how many officers, units, Special costs like SWAT Teams and Items used, all can be easily listed and automatically totaled, so you can expense out any/all given Incidents.  This is used by SWAT, Nuisance Abatements, ABC (Alcohol Beverage Control) as well as the Crime Free Programs. 

July 2011.. Awesome Conference in San Diego!  Samantha and crew put on a great Conference and EasyTracking received a fantastic response -- our best Conference ever!  Thank you!!! It was very fun demonstrating all the new "toys" that EasyTracking has added (thanks to your great ideas!) -- the great feedback and positive comments are awesome to hear... thank you so much!

January 2011, We released EasyTracking Version 2011!  More enhancements of each of the following Tabs:  Transactions, GOAL and Incidents!  More great ideas from users to make things better, faster, more useful... awesome group of software users we have here!  Thank you all!

September, 2010..We release Build 1060, which has GOAL List -- a list of persons who have committed crimes in the city.  Managers, using the Web version, can see this list and use it as part of their Resident Screening process.  Very helpful tool to verify whether a rental applicant is being truthful in regard to their criminal history. Another useful tool suggested and used by cities!

May, 22nd, 2010.. We released Build 1034 ..One of the best/biggest addons yet:  "Contact Cards!" Also known as "Incident Cards", now officers can, using the Web Version, type in a easy-to-fill-in Incident Card right from their patrol car!  And once they hit "Send" it will show in your database back in the Police Dept, so you can see it at your desk as the Crime Free Coordinator!  All of the sudden, you have every police officer being your eyes and ears, and they can easily/quickly send you a quick Note or a more-detailed Incident Card (electronically, no more papers, cards, printing costs, stamp costs, hassles, etc etc).  A big improvement over how Contact Cards are typically done and the cities who helped develop it and use it LOVE it!  As each NEW cities tries it (with our Free Updates!) they love it as well -- it's just a great improvement and fits all the easy-to-use needs for both the officer in the field and you as a Coordinator.  You can also print and email them directly to the Manager and/or Owner, so they know immediately what is going on at their Property.  Fast, easy, efficient and a bigtime cost-savings.. Awesome!

April 14th, 2010..We released Build 1010.. Another Major Tab is born!  The "Transactions Tab" allows you to keep track of Billing Properties (used in some cities for Rental Licenses, Nuisance Abatement, etc.) -- anywhere you need to send Invoices out to Properties and then track the Payments received (and account balances -- who owes what and line items listing why).  Another great idea from you!  We will add/improve to this over time per your ideas and requests!  Keep em coming!  Thanks!

March 21st, 2010.. We released Build 1005 which added in a "Print All Attendees" button on All Attendees Tab, as well as more new features for ABC -- Alcohol Beverage Control, which some agencies are now using EasyTracking for that purpose -- since it is essentially the same need:  Tracking all Properties that sell Alcohol:  Bars, Restaurants, Stores, Pubs, etc. Many of the same features, tracking addresses, emails, notes, photos, dates, inspections, etc. that are some in Crime Free are also done in ABC. We will keep adding in some specific features for ABC in addition to our Crime Free to-do list!  Thanks for all the great ideas you are sending!  It's what makes this software great -- because YOU are telling us what the Real World needs are!  Thanks again!

February 23rd, 2010.. We released EasyTracking Version 2010!  We have added several small enhancements and a couple small bug fixes.  Enjoy the new release and thank you for all the nice email and phone calls recently... it's very very appreciated!  Our goal is to have happy software clients!  Thank you!!!

February 3rd, 2010... We released Build 959, which adds a "Export to Excel" button in the Stats Tab of any Property.  Now you can easily export this Stats information into Excel, in case you want to make charts, etc. with it.  More easy ways to do useful things!

January 19th, 2010... Released Build 958, which has a Crime Free Signs column added to the List of All Properties report.  This allows you to easily tabulate which Properties have how many signs and to control your Crime Free Signs inventory!

December 16th, 2009.... Released Build 957, which has a new, improved List of Properties SEARCH method, allowing you to search Property Names by ANY part of their name, rather than just "starting with".   This new search method allows for a broader, more comprehensive search.  We also fixed a few small bugs, including the Beat dropdown on Prop Info Tab. 

July 5th, 2009... Wow!  Kansas City!  The 2009 Annual Conference for the International Crime Free Association was fantastic!  We had our best response ever!  We were able to meet many current users and many potential new users of EasyTracking!  I want to personally thank all the current users who came to our classes at the Conference and said some VERY nice things about EasyTracking!  Compliments ALWAYS means more when they come from current users of the software -- they tell it like it is, and this year especially we heard some fantastic ideas and compliments and "we use it for this reason and it helps us tremendously!" type of comments. I am very, very grateful for the people that showed up and spread the word.... thank you, thank you, thank you!

May 17th, 2009... EasyTracking 2009 is here!  We have many new features, new Violation Tab, many bug fixes, many improved/simplified areas of the program, and we have incorporated several of your ideas and suggestions!  Thanks to ALL  who contributed to improving EasyTracking!  Our goal over the last 13 years with this software is to continue to make EasyTracking more useful, easier to use and to have it help you save time, money and your sanity!

April 15th, 2009... We are running trial versions in several cities now for the 2009 Version of EasyTracking, which features the brand new Violations Tab.  Here you can track specific violations per person, per apartment, per property, and have a one-click button to find out instantly who has more than 3 violations per 12-month period.  You can see which properties have violations, see which people have the most violations, etc.  It's a very helpful tool to combat repeat violations on a person, property over any period of time.  The new version is scheduled for FULL release May 15th, and based on how well the trials are going, should be out on schedule, perhaps even earlier.

December 15th, 2008.. We are in the final stages of preparing the install/update packages for the 2009 version of EasyTracking.  This newest version has many small bug fixes and many new features and improvements, as well as the brand new Violations Tab!  We are looking forward to sharing this significant addition (updates are always free/included at no charge to EasyTracking Users who are in their first two years or are subscribers for free updates/free training/free help).

August 1st, 2008.. What a wonderful Conference!!!!  The folks in Surrey sure know how to put on a top-notch Conference!!! Thanks to all who attended our EasyTracking Classes (we got to see many old, familiar friends and clients, as well as meet many wonderful new people!). The International Crime Free Family just keeps growing and getting better all the time!

May 15th, 2008 ... We released Build 807 in preparation for the 2008 International Crime Free Conference in Surry, British Columbia, Canada.  

Feb 3rd, 2008... We released EasyTracking 2008!  We've added some cool effects, fixed some bugs, and are almost done with the WEB version of the Violations Tab.  As always, these are FREE updates to our current users, and if you need help with upgrading, please call us and we'll help you get upgraded quickly and easily.

Oct 7th, 2007... We released Build 709, which has a few tweaks and small bug fixes we've noticed... also we're working on a "Violations Tab"... which will let you track individual Violations for each Property... some cities have a city policy "If you have 3 Violations in a 12-Month Time Period, then..."   Soon EasyTracking™ will make it very easy for you to track those Violations and EasyTracking™ can calculate and display which Properties, which People/Violators have accumulated 3 violations in 12 months (or any N violations in X months)... you can customize it to whatever your city's code or police Department policy is....we should have this done by mid December if not sooner.

Sept 30th, 2007... We released Build 706, which added a key feature to both the EasyTracking Windows and EasyTracking WEB versions:   We added in a "Property Access Information" grid to the main Property Info Tab.  This will allow you to store Gate Codes, Knox Box codes, any access codes to any gates, locks, entrances you may wish to store for a given Apartment/Property.  Combined with the EasyTracking WEB version, now anyone in your Police Dept computer network (Dispatch, Police Cars, etc) can view this Gate/Code information at any time, 24/7/365, just as they can view other EasyTracking information, such as Manager name/phone number, etc.  So a Police Car can find out Gate codes at 3am...from your EasyTracking Database, or ask Dispatch to do the same.  This EasyTracking WEB can dramatically increase the usefulness of the data you have stored in the Windows version of EasyTracking.

Sept 23rd, 2007... We released Build 704, which added several new features and capabilities for your Training Classes screens:

   1)  You can now see an entire List of ALL Persons trained in ALL Classes -- so that you can easily see if someone has gone thru ANY of your Training Classes in the past. 

   2)  Also, from inside the Manager/Mgmt Co/Owner/Other Names screens, you can send that person's name into any Training Class directly... no more exiting Property, entering Training Classes and then adding that person's name, Property information, etc.... now it can be done directly with a couple mouse clicks -- saves time and typing! 

   3) We also added a Training Class "Attendee Title"... so that you can classify all people who are attending your Training Classes.  That way, you can count how many Managers, how many Owners, etc have attended you classes.  Also, you can sort the list to see just the Managers, Owners, Guest Speakers, etc that you have had in your Training Classes.

   4)  You can now also assign a Training Class / Phase 1 Date for all Class Attendees with one click.  This saves you from having to go into each Property and click on the person's name and assign their Training Class / Phase 1 Date.  Again, we did this to help you get things done faster and easier.

   5)  Also, we fixed a couple bugs (the most notable one being:  in the Other Names Tab, to be change the Title again).  Thanks to those who emailed/called to point that out... that helps us tremendously to find any remaining bugs, so thank you!

Sept 5th, 2007... We attended the CCPOA Conference in San Diego and showed our latest EasyTracking and EasyTracking WEB software products. It was a very nicely attended Conference and we ran into many new faces and a lot of CrimeFree people as well!

July 20th, 2007... Yet another very nice Crime Free Conference!!!  Thanks to Tim Zehring and all the Mesa, AZ crew for putting on a very successful Conference.  Once again Mesa put on a fun, enjoyable Conference overall and we were able to meet new people and also got another chance to mix and have a few laughs and spend some good times with a bunch of old friends too!!!  And it's always fun to finally meet people who were familiar via our phone installs/trainings in person!  Great job guys!

July 16th, 2007... We're here in Mesa, AZ, at the International Crime Free Conference!  And we're introducing EasyTracking WEB -- an add on software program that when combined with EasyTracking for Windows lets you share your data with anyone within your Police Department Network (including Police Cars if they have Intranet Enabled computers in their cars)!!!  Now such information as Manager Names, Phone Numbers, (and soon) Gate/Knox Box codes, Owner Names/Phone Numbers, CTPED information, Notes you have typed in, Trespass information, etc can be seen by anyone inside your Police Department... a dramatic expansion of the usefulness of your Crime Free EasyTracking for Windows information to share with many others in your Police Department!!!

May 16th, 2007... Today we released the 2007 Windows Version update of EasyTracking.  Several small items were updated, a few bugs fixed, and a new, fresh "look" for the program was unveiled.  Most of the work was done "under the hood" to help it work with the upcoming Add-on program EasyTracking Web (the View-only Web Version of EasyTracking) that is in the final stages of testing.  Enjoy!

May 1st, 2007... We're continuing to make significant progress on the Web Version of EasyTracking, so that you can have others within your Agency have a VIEW-ONLY look at your data.  We are currently implementing this Web Version Optional Add-on program within some Cities/Agencies that are also using the standard Windows Version of EasyTracking.  The Web/Read-Only version will be ready for the Annual Conference in Mesa, AZ in July.

March 1st, 2007... We're making major progress on the Web Version of EasyTracking, so that you can have others within your Agency have a VIEW-ONLY look at your data (for example, Dispatch can see your Crime Free Property information, such as Manager/Owner names/phone numbers, etc. without you having to worry about them editing/changing your data).  This new major addon should be ready for display by the Crime Free Conference in Mesa, Az in July.

July 21st, 2006... What a wonderful Crime Free Conference!!!  Thanks to Laura and all her Albuquerque teammates for putting on a very successful Conference. We once again met new people and also got another chance to see and share some good times with some old friends too!!!  It's always fun to finally meet people who were familiar via our phone installs/trainings in person!

June 16th, 2006... Today we released Build 575, which improves the Printed Report for the Authorizations Report and also adds the Export to Excel feature to the Authorizations Report.

May 5th, 2006... Today we released Build 574, which displays a choice to show or not show multiple Property Addresses on the List of All Properties Report.  This allows you to display only the Primary Addresses for your Property List or, if you need to see all the multiple addresses for each property, you can click on "Show Multiple Addresses" checkbox and the List of All Properties will show all the multiple Property Addresses in the Report.

April 21st, 2006...  Today we released Build 573, which updated the Authorization Letter and added in a customizable comment to it.  Now you can add a customized message to the letters...and change it the next time you print them.. "Our next meeting is May 21st" or whatever you want as a custom message for any particular Letter mailing.

April 10th, 2006...  Today we released Build 572, which added a 2nd page with the Trespass Authorization Letters that has the return address and Owner's name, which then can be folded and used as an mailing alternative to envelopes and labels.

April 10th, 2006...  Today we released Build 570 & 571, which also put the Property APN# at the bottom of the Trespass Authorization Letters in order to more easily match the Mailing Labels with Authorization Letters when you do Mailings of the Letters and Labels.

April 9th, 2006...  Today we released Build 569, which put the Property APN# in the Trespass Authorization Letters as well as in the Mailing Labels for Authorization Properties.

April 7th, 2006...  Today we released Build 568, which prevents the User from accidentally move the Browse location inappropriately on Authorization Letters.

March 29th, 2006 ...  Today we released Builds 566 and 567, which enhanced the Authorization Tab's "Print Form Letter" functions to now allow you to Print the Generic Form Letter to your property owners and have the letters automatically fill in a custom Title, Address and Phone/Fax/Email contact information inserted into the Authorization based on the Area and Beat where the Property is located.  This information is located at the bottom of the Authorization Generic Form Letter so that the Owners can easily know which Police Division (or Area) and which particular Officer is assigned to that Owner's Basic Car (or Beat)... all of this customizing so that your "Generic" letter is actually a very customized, targeted, specific letter to each Owner... helping ensure the Owner can easily contact you and get you the Trespass Authorization that you are seeking from him/her.

February 22nd, 2006 ... Today we released Build 565, which modified the Authorization data format in the Generic Form printouts.

Today we released Build 564, which fixed 2 small bugs:  #1, in the "Insert Pre-defined CPTED Item List" and #2 was in Authorization Labels, the Left Margin needed to be moved over 2 spaces.  Sorry for any inconvenience, and thank you for bringing it to our attention!  Call us anytime at 877-501-4699 (or 619-421-8227 from outside the USA) for any problems or bugs or anything that we can do to make this software better, easier, faster for you!

February 16th, 2006 ... Today we released Build 563, which added New Owner Labels and New Property Management Company Labels to the Authorizations Report. We also added in E-mail Lists of Managers, Management Companies and Owners on the Authorizations Report.  We also added in the Export-to-Excel feature so you can export all your Authorization data to an Excel Spreadsheet to enable you to select/modify the data any way you want.

February 15th, 2006 ... Today we released Build 562, which added New Manager Labels to the Authorizations Report and fixed a bug in the CPTED Report... sorry for any inconvenience!

February 1st, 2006 ... Today we released Build 560, which updated the Expiration date to 2/1/2008... this Expiration date keeps all users updated with the newest versions of EasyTracking.  2006 is our 10th year of development and usage of EasyTracking!!!  Thanks for your continued use of EasyTracking and we look forward to many years more!

January 8th, 2006 -- Today we released Build 559, which changed the Search Field in the List of All People / Companies Report to Search by "Name CONTAINED in the Name Field" versus the former "Name 'Starting With' in the Name Field"... this allows a greater/easier Search for Names/People/Companies in the List of All People / Companies Report.

December 28th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 558, which added a two new fields to your Property Tab and fixed a small bug in the List of All Properties Report

    New Field #1:  Property APN (Assessor's Parcel Number/Tax ID number) so you can track your properties by a unique number provided by your local tax assessor.

    New Field #2:  Property ID#  so you can track your properties by your own custom unique number.

    Bug Fix on List of All Properties Report :  eliminated an error when double-clicking on a Property in the List of All Properties Report.

 December 20th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 557, which added a new tab/report and improved two existing Reports

     New Tab :  "Authorizations Tab" -- which is essentially a place to keep track of periodic Reminders / Notices / Authorizations that you may wish to track (such as Trespass Authorizations, etc).  Here you can enter the dates that each Property's Authorization was signed and a date when it is due to expire.  You can also scan/save the document into your computer and log the file Path to it, so that you can easily locate/display/print that Authorization in the future (instead of rummaging thru files, wondering "where did I put that last year?").

     New Report :  "Authorizations Report" -- A easy way to see a display of All of your Authorizations and be able to sort and display which Authorizations are over-due or need to be renewed.  Instantly see/print a form letter for any/all Properties that need to renew their Authorizations before they expire!  All in one simple/easy Report.  As with all our Reports, you can also choose to Export this Report to Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet, so you can do mail-merge and/or customize the Report Data.

     Improvement #1 to List of All Properties Report -- Now you can see the City/State/Zip/Postal Code on the Report, so you can Export to Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet and do mail-merge for labels, etc

     Improvement #1 to List of All People Report -- Now you Create an E-mail List of All People, so you can cut/paste into your E-mail program and send out quick emails to All/Selected Portions of People (Managers, Owners, etc) in your Crime Free Program... all in one new "Create E-mail List" button.

     Improvement #2 to List of All People Report -- Now you Create an FAX List of All People, so you can cut/paste into your FAX program and send out quick Faxes to All/Selected Portions of People (Managers, Owners, etc) in your Crime Free Program... all in one new "Create FAX List" button.

Thanks for the great suggestions, we are happy to add in new features that you find useful...anything to make EasyTracking a more useful tool for tracking your Crime Free Properties!

 

August 8th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 550, which added new features to two different reports:

     New Feature #1:  Add "Search Title" to List of All Documents Reports

     New Feature #2:  Add "Fax Numbers" to List of All People Reports

July 24th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 548, which added in two brand new Reports: 

     New Report #1:  List of All Notes.... This Report organizes all your Property Notes into one Easy Report, sorting them by Date, so you can easily see who/when/what order you talked to who...and if you tagged a Follow-up Date to your notes, you can easily see the sorted list of who you need to call back and what date order to call them back... a VERY easy way to stay organized on who and what and when you need to contact Managers, Owners, or anyone!

     New Report #2:  List of All Documents... This Report organized all your Documents (paths/locations of Documents that you have stored on an individual Property) into one easy Report, sorting by the Date you stored them.  This way you can easily find a document you have stored without having to remember where/which Property you stored it in.  More organization...made Easy!

July 20th, 2005... What a fabulous Crime Free Conference!!!  Thanks to John Start and all his teammates for putting on a very exciting Conference.  For us, this was by far our most successful Conference to date!  We met lots of new faces and got to see and share some laughs with some old friends too!!!  It's always fun to finally meet people who were familiar via our phone installs/trainings, and now getting the opportunity to meet them in person!

July 1st, 2005 -- Today we released Build 541, which has a bug fix on the customized search on the Property List.

June 27th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 540, which added a New CPTED Report:  Show All Currently "Certified" Properties... so you can easily see/print a list of all Properties considered "Certified" (having completed their CPTED Inspections and completing a Meeting/Safety Social.  As with all reports, this list can be sorted by Date and Exportable as a Printed Report or Excel Spreadsheet or a PDF File, whichever you choose.

June 27th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 539, which, as suggested, renamed the "Name Info" tab to "Other Names" and moved it next to the Manager/Mgmt Co/Owner tabs. Also, we moved the "All Names" tabs next there as well.  Thank you to Veronika Metchie from New Westminster, BC for the great suggestion... it makes so much sense and it much more clear this way!  Thank you!

June 20th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 538, which added a New CPTED Report... Show ALL CPTED Inspection dates due ANYTIME in the FUTURE... so you can easily who all is scheduled for a future CPTED Inspection... all sorted by Date and Exportable as a Printed Report or Excel Spreadsheet or a PDF File, as is the case with all EasyTracking™ Reports.

June 20th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 537, which has two additional features added and a bug fix:

      New Item #1.   A brand new Tab on the CPTED Inspections that can store "CPTED Document" paths... including any photo, scan, Word document or Spreadsheet...any file's path can easily be stored here.. and retrieved/displayed with a simple double-click... No more storing files on your computer... and never being able to find them later... store their paths here..and not only can YOU find them...anyone on your network (your co-workers) can easily find them using EasyTracking and this feature!  Organization made easy!

      New Item #2.   A new "Duplicate This CPTED List" button....so you can make one Master List of CPTED Inspection Items... then easily make Duplicates with one click..and edit or any on items specific to the New List.  For example, if you have a Master CPTED List for Apartments... and wanted a very similar Master CPTED List for Manufactured Housing... just one-click and you have a Duplicate...and now go add/edit the few CPTED items that are specific to Manufactured Housing. You can have as many Master Lists as you want...one for Mini-Storages, Condos, Storefronts, etc., any Property Type you want!  Fast and Easy!

      Bug Fix:  On Stats Report that is Exported to Excel... column alignment is corrected.  Thanks for pointing this out and sorry for any inconvenience!

June 19th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 534, which fixed a bug in Build 533's Procedure that added a new table to the database.

June 14th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 533, which fixed a bug in the Person Labels, putting Address Line 2 into the Label if a Line 2 exists in an address.  Also in Build 533, we added in Individual Default City, State and Zip for each Username.  That way, when each User signs on and presses "Use Default City, State, Zip" on a Property, Manager, Prop Mgmt Co or Owner Tabs, their individual Default City, State, Zip is automatically entered, saving the User from having to enter that up to 4 times on each Property.

June 13th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 532, which is a completely upgraded way of creating and using Customized CPTED Lists for Inspections.  For example, you can have a customized CPTED List for Apartments, another custom List for Mini-Storages, another List for Condos, etc.  The new way is MUCH more user-friendly ... and if you have created custom lists before with the old way of doing things...don't worry... this upgrade automatically imports those Lists into the new way of doing things... so you can now more easily update and add onto those Custom CPTED Lists.

May 25th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 524, which put the "Clear All CPTED Items for This Inspection button" back in on the CPTED Inspection Items screen, as a convenient/easy way to clear out a CPTED list of items for a given Inspection.

May 18th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 523, which fixed a small bug which did scrolling during a Export to Excel of the List of All People screen.

May 18th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 522, which fixed a small bug which did scrolling during a Export to Excel of the List of All Properties screen.

May 17th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 521, which added in two more customizable ways to do Property Searches: 

     1.   Search by Property Name (or partial Property Name) ... So if you are looking for Windham Apartments... you can just enter in "Win" or any partial of the Property Name and all Properties that start with "Win" will be displayed...and you can then Double-Click on the Property Name you want and be directly taken to the Property Screen for that Property Name.

     2.   Search by Street Address Number  (or partial Number) ... so if you are looking for a Property located at 13567 Main Street.... you can just enter in "135" or any partial of the Street Address Number and all Properties that have "135" ANYWHERE in the Street Address will be shown.  This search is a little different in that the number can be ANYWHERE in the Address Field, as opposed to the "Starting With" in the Property Name Search above.  So that means if you are looking for ALL properties on Newbury Ave...just type in "Newbury" and you will get a list of all properties on Newbury.  If you typed in "New" you will get all properties on Newbury, Newland, Newman, etc streets... because they contain "New" in them... which is also a good way to check for a misspelled Street Name.

May 16th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 520, which added in two convenience buttons, namely a Show All Properties Button and a Scroll/Next Page/End Button, to all 4 major Customizable Report Screens (List of All Properties, List of All People/Companies, Stats Report and CPTED Report).

May 16th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 519, which added Area features into the Stats Report and CTPED Report.  Also we added in the printout of Area/Beat/Type/Activity choices onto the Report Printouts, and also the CPTED Report Type on the CPTED Report, to help clarify your customized choices on the Reports you have just printed.

May 15th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 518, which added in Double-Click on the List of All Properties and List of All People/Companies Lists... so when you pull up a List of All Properties, you can now Double-Click on a particular Property on the List and it will take you directly to the Property Screen at that Property location... when you use this new feature with the dropdown Area/Beat/Type/Activity customizable choices, you can display a List of, say, all Properties in Beat 1 that are of Type Apartment ... and Double-Click on the Properties.. go to the Property Screen...then click back to the same customized list...Double-Click on the next Beat 1 Apartment, and go right down the List.  Very convenient and customizable..and fast..and easy..to scroll down a customized list of Properties and make changes to any or all of them.

Also on Build 518, we added several additional places where "Area" can be either one particular Area or "All Areas"... now you can see a list of Properties, Managers, Owners, People, Stats, etc based either on one particular Area or "All Areas", meaning your entire City. So if you want to break your City/County/Agency into different "Areas" for different users, you now can. For example, if you want 4 different people ONLY seeing ONE particular Area, you can assign each of them one Area of your City...and they can see/edit/input ONLY in their own Area.  And you can have another User have "ALL Areas" so that you can see ALL of the Properties in your City.  Just another way you can divide the workload of inputting/managing the data in your City/County/Agency.

May 9th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 517, which added in a new "Double-Click-to-Locate" feature on List of All Contacts; also added a new button "List of All Contacts" on the Individual Contact form..so you can easily go back and forth from the List of All Contacts to each Individual Contact and back again to the List of All Contacts.

May 8th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 514, which added in two new Menu choices and a Brand New Report :  List of All Agencies, under the Contacts menu of the Main Menu. 

     1.  The first new Menu choice is under Backup, and is "Location of Your Backup File"...to make it easier and faster to locate and see your Backup File that you just have created. 

     2.  The second new Menu choice is under Software Help and is "Location of Your CrimeFree.exe File (For Updates)"....so that you can easily know/see where the Main Program File (CrimeFree.exe) is located...so when you download an Update, you now can easily see WHERE to put the update file.

     3.  The New "List of All Agencies" Report is located under Contacts.... so that you can easily print a complete report/listing of all of your Agency Contacts.  As with all of EasyTracking's Reports... you can sort on it (based on the Agency's Country and/or State/Province) and also you can Export this list to Excel and/or Print a full Report directly.

April 11th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 509, which has 1 Brand New Report (List of All People/Companies Report) and 2 completely revised/upgraded reports (Stats Reports and CPTED Report):

  1. The New List of All People/Companies Report shows you every person (all Managers, Owners, Property Mgmt Companies, Assistant Managers, Leasing Agents, etc... and lets you sort/filter this list by Person Type... so you can easily get a list of Managers... or a list of Owners.... or a list of Leasing Agents... or Property Mgmt Companies..etc.  And you can also sort/filter these by Area/Beat/Type/Activity Status, like all our reports.  So you can now get a list of all Apartment Managers in Beat #3...or all Owners of Mini-Storages in Beat #1... or..or...or... you have dozens of Report choices now!  AND.. you can print LABELS from this list of People, so you can create Labels of all the Apartment Managers in Beat #2, for example!
  2. The Upgraded Stats Report shows all your Calls-for-Service Stats, Criminal Complaints Stats, and Arrest Stats for any/all Area/Beat/Type/Activity Status.  So you can get your Calls-for-Service Stats for all of your Apartments in Beat #1, or all of your Manufactured Housing in Beat #2, or.. or ..or... again you have many many choices..or show ALL stats of ALL Properties...whatever you want you can have!
  3. The Upgraded CPTED Report shows all of your Properties' CPTED Dates.  So you can see how your Properties are progressing in terms of where they are in their CPTED process:  Is a Property in Phase 1 and hasn't done Phase 2 CPTED Inspection yet?  Now you can see this in a Report.  How many Properties have completed all three Phases and are Certified?   Now you can see this in a Report.  How many Properties are coming due for their Annual Re-inspection of their CPTED?   Now you can see this in a Report. AND... you can sort by Area/Beat/Type/Activity Status.  So, you can see how many Certified Properties are Apartments and in Beat #1 ... or you can see how many Mini-Storages in Beat #3 are due for their Annual CPTED Re-Inspection.... you have dozens of Report choices now!

February 12th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 506, which added in New Full-Function Labels (choice of font sizes, multiple label types) for Training Classes.  Also fixed a small bug in the column alignment in the Classes section in the Excel export choice. 

February 2nd, 2005 -- Today we released Build 505, which fixed a small bug in the Labels addresses.

January 23rd, 2005 -- Today we released Build 504, which fixed a small bug in the Classes Reports allowing Custom Column Sorting and Exporting to Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet.

January 11th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 503, which added in Arrests into the Property Profile Printed Report, so you can see the # of Arrests, Change, and Percent Change printed out.

January 10th, 2005 -- Today we released Build 502, which increases the number of months to 12 on the Calls-for-Service section on the Property Profile Printed Report, so that you can see the most recent 12 months of Calls-for-Service stats (it was previously last 10 months).

January 9th, 2005 -- Today we released EasyTracking Version 2005, Build 501, which added in new self-install features to the software for much easier installation of either Single-User Installs or Multi-User Server/Client Installs for Networked Installations.  We're starting our TENTH year working with the Crime Free Programs and very much look forward to the NEXT 10 years together!  We would like to thank all of the Crime Free Coordinators, Officers, CSOs, our long-time friends, co-workers and software users who have helped us add new features all thru the years!  Our To-Do list has a ton of new/additional features we're working hard on as we speak.  So it's should be a very fun time for years to come!  Thank you again, everyone!

December 30th, 2004 -- Today we released Build 425, which added into the Training Classes, a Sort to fields "Phone Number" and "Comment" and also to Send that same sorted list to the "Send to Excel" option. 

December 29th, 2004 -- Today we released Build 424, which added into the Reports Section a New Stats Report that is selectable by Area/Beat/Type/Activity Status.  It still needs a couple items, but we wanted to release it to show its future look (a subsequent release will finalize its features).

December 28th, 2004 -- Today we released Build 423, which added in "Send to Excel" option/button to the Classes screen/report.

December 1st, 2004 -- Today we released Build 422, which fixed a small bug in Classes Dates.

December 1st, 2004 -- Today we released Build 421, which fixed a small bug in email addresses.

October 28th, 2004...Today we released Build 420, which has THREE Brand New **Custom-Sortable** Lists...

                 1) List of ALL Properties 

                 2) Summary of Properties -- by Property Type

                 3) Summary of Properties -- by Property Beat

Each of these 3 new lists can be custom-sorted by Area/Beat/Property Type/Activity Status... so you can get a list of, for example:

      All the Apartments in Beat #2 that are 'Active',  All the Hotel/Motel in All Beats that are 'Haven't Started' Crime Free, etc etc....'

      Summary of all Property Types, sorted and totaled by Beat... for quick totals of your progress in your Crime Free Program...

      Summary of all Beats, sorted and totaled by Type.... so you can quickly compare Beats and how many different Types are in them.

It really gives you many many choices so that you can create lists almost any way you can think of...

AND.... you can not only PRINT them....but you can now EXPORT these lists into Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets and view/edit/cut/paste/delete/add from there....

October 6th, 2004...Today we released Build 416, which corrected a bug in the logon date checker in Canada Version.

October 6th, 2004...Today we released Build 415, which corrected a bug in the choices in the Main Menu.

October 4th, 2004... Today we released Build 414 of EasyTracking 2004, with several brand new features, such as one-click email starting, one-click web-page opening, one-click "Show Map" feature for all addresses, and one click "Copy Person" to automatically fill in a Person on another property easily (no more duplicating typing name, address, etc).  Also, we added in a "Use Default City/State/Zip" button, to save having to type in the city/state/zip every time you add in a new property...just click the button and all 3 are filled in automatically for you.  Also add in a one-button Backup (and Restore) feature for your database, so you can easily backup your information easily and safely.  Also, we added in one click buttons to send us email or launch our website www.crimefreesoftware.com so you can easily get to us for help or support or free updates or just to browse the website.  Lots of good stuff this update! Thanks for all your great ideas from the Annual Conference and also from your emails and phone calls.  And we have more planned... please keep sending us more "stuff to do", this is how we have come this far...because of YOUR good ideas!  Thanks again and enjoy!

August 16th, 2004... Today we released Build 411 of EasyTracking 2004, which has all the features shown in the Minnesota Conference!  Now you can put multiple photos of your Properties, Managers, Owners and even multiple Photos for each individual CPTED item! Also, you can now print Labels of all your Properties in over 50 Avery Label Sizes and in any font style or size you want!  These features and more are available now!  As always, this Upgrade is FREE to all current users of EasyTracking 2004.   Just go to the Update Page and download the latest Update, so you can enjoy these new features, reports and improvements.

July 21st, 2004... Fantastic Conference!!!  This was our most successful Conference yet!  We had the pleasure of seeing a LOT of familiar happy faces and got to meet lots of new faces too!  And also we met many people who were only familiar via our phone installs/trainings, but now we had a chance to meet in person!  Fantastic!

October 26th, 2003... We're making great progress on several new, exciting features for EasyTracking Version 2004!  You'll be able to add Property Photos, Manager Photos, CPTED Photos, Print Mailing Labels, Print several new Reports. We also expanded the CPTED sections. We are very excited and have incorporated several great suggestions from this past Conference.  As always, this Upgrade is FREE to all current users of EasyTracking 2003. 

August 2nd, 2003... WOW!!! What a GREAT Conference... our BEST ever... and we're very happy to say "Thank you!" for all the kind words and compliments we received on our newest EasyTracking version... it will be released October 27th, 2003.  We can't wait to distribute it, we're even adding a couple suggestions that we received from you at this year's Conference... July 12th, 2003... Getting ready to release a major new multi-Build sequence (with several new features, new reports and new Tabs) at the 5th Annual International CrimeFree Conference. Looking forward to seeing you all there, it should be a GREAT conference!

April 15, 2003... Today we released Build 309, which changed the display order in the "ALL CPTEDs" tab, to display the most recent Inspection on the top of the list, then older Inspections below. April 14, 2003... Today we released Build 308, which allows all of the CPTRED Renewal Reports that Build 304 created to be able to be sorted/filtered by Area and Beat..so you can see a list of CPTED Annual Renewals for a specific Area and/or Beat, allowing you to select any parts of your CrimeFree Renewals in a Report.

March 31, 2003... Today we released Build 307, which added yet another new major report "Calls-for-Service Report", which shows the Calls-for-Service and Criminal Reports, along with their Percentage Change, for every Property in your city, along with City-wide Totals of both the amount and percentage.

March 29, 2003... Today we released Build 306, which added a NEW field, "CPTED Inspection Report" to the CPTED Info Tab. This allows the user to type or cut/paste from Word, an entire written Inspection Report, in addition to or as an alternative to the Checklist type of CPTED Inspection.

March 25, 2003... Today we released Build 305, which fixed a small bug in the Contacts section.  Added/tied-in a "Phase 1 Date" for each Contact, so that each person you have as a contact, you will know if/when they went thru their own Phase 1 Training.

March 24, 2003... Today we released Build 304, which added 2 major new reports, with a total of 9 variations/options on how/which date ranges, etc, you want.

February 24th, 2003... Today we released Build 303, which added in three new fields:

   1)  Former Name of Property

   2) Date of Property Name change 

   3) Number of (Crime Free) Signs

We also fixed a bug in the display of the Number of Managers / MgmtCompanies / Owners and also Primary buttons.  If you have/find any errors in anything, let us know, please.

We are now able to (finally) start blasting out new Reports. We have created a To-Do List page, showing the list of suggestions and things we want to and plan to add in the future.  Any feedback you can give us ("Can you please add/create a Report that does ....") or ("Can you change what you already have to do ...") or ("Can you add in this item or column or ...."). 

Anything at all is helpful to us, for YOU are the best judge of what YOU need and how you need it.  We really really appreciate your time and effort in letting us know what we can do to make this software better for you to use.

January 1st, 2003... HAPPY NEW YEAR!  We released the 2003 version of EasyTracking, with several new reports and bug fixes (there are no more known bugs, so if you find one hiding, call us and tell us so we can stomp 'em out!). December 8th, 2002 ... Revised/Updated the PowerPoint short slideshow of EasyTracking. For any of you interested in this Click here to download a brief PowerPoint Presentation showing the many features and benefits of EasyTracking software. 

November 24th, 2002... Build 208 of Version 2002 is released... fixes a couple bugs that would occur when the user would fail to hit the checkmark/post. Now the software will checkmark/post for the user if the user fails/forgets to checkmark.. the only downside to this if the user made a change and didn't intend to, and even though the software turns the fields yellow to notify a user a change has been made, if the user still doesn't hit the checkmark/post, and moves/changes/leaves that tab, the software will post the changes. So the user should be aware that when they make changes (all fields turn yellow to notify you changes are/have been made) to hit the checkmark/post or else the software will for you.

October 21st, 2001... Prepare to travel to St. Cloud, Minnesota, for the Minnesota Crime Prevention Association Conference.  We are hoping to meet several new agencies and demonstrate "EasyTracking" to them. October 3rd, 2001... Fixed the "flickering screen" bug (some versions of Windows 2000 handle the "refresh" the screen at a slower rate, giving a "flickering" look. We did a minor redesign of our software to adjust for this and eliminate this flickering). If you have one of these versions of Windows 2000 and see "flickering", just download the latest version of EasyTracking (download EasyTracking Update here) and your screen won't flicker anymore.

September 10th... September 1st, 2001...The  3rd Annual Crime Free Conference in Seattle, WA was a big success in terms of being able to demonstrate the newest Windows version of the Crime Free "EasyTracking" Software.  We thankfully received very good feedback, handed out a few dozen CDs with the Beta version of EasyTracking, and even got some new ideas for future add-ons and reports that will be included in future releases. Thanks to all who took the time to stop by and say 'hi' and for your kind words of encouragement, they are very appreciated.

August, 15th, 2001... Wrap up Beta Version, ready for full demo at the 3rd Annual Crime Free Conference in Seattle, WA.

July 15th, 2001... Finalize EasyTracking features, continue initial test installs on several Agencies in the USA.

June 15th, 2001... Added on a complete CPTED Inspection section to the Crime Free  EasyTracking program. This allows a complete checklist, customizable to each type of Property (Apartments, Condos, Mobile Homes, etc) to be created with one click, and to track/followup and keep years of Inspection Histories for all of your Properties quickly and easily.

May 15th, 2001...Installed on Windows NT Networks with several workstations installed and up and running. 

March 15th, 2001... Begin shipping and installing some Alpha versions of EasyTracking2001 to selected product evaluators for initial feedback.

March 1st, 2001...Begin development of software to automatically transfer your current data from Easytracking'99 into the new windows version EasyTracking2001.  This will make the transition into the new software very easy to do and incredibly convenient.

January 1st, 2001... Begin final stages of EasyTracking2001.   Evaluate each section:  Main Property Screen, Detailed Property Information, Manager's Screen, Property Manager's Screen, Owner's Screen, CPTED Dates Screen, Calls-for-Service Stats Screen, Detailed Notes Screen, List of Names Screen.

November, 15th, 2000....Good progress being made at implementing designs into the new Software Product, EasyTracking2001. Slightly ahead of schedule in spite of adding additional features and functions.

October 1st, 2000... Completed first stage of development on Windows version of EasyTracking, called EasyTracking2001.  Several new features are being designed into the new version, including multiple property addresses, multiple managers and/or owners, a separate field for Property Management Company, multiple phone/fax numbers, an e-mail address field, and several places where EasyTracking2001 automatically dates your input, so you know, for example, how dated a phone number is (and therefore whether it's likely to still be valid).                                                  

September 1st, 2000.... Initial Design Stage of the Windows version of EasyTracking, called EasyTracking2001, is complete.  The limits, tables, fields and new data that now can be collected in this new version enable the user to have virtually unlimited amounts of data. The next step is to begin to implement these designs into actual programming code.

August 1st, 2000...  Start sending out the current update for "EasyTracking99".  If you get the "Update" Message from your software, simply call 877-501-4699 for your Free Update, and we'll mail, FedEx or Email it to you, depending upon your request and needs.

May 1st, 2000... Start work on Initial Design Stage of the Windows version of EasyTracking2001, to be delivered Free to all current Crime Free clients on or before August 1st, 2001.  The Windows version will be a fully functioning multi-user database program, running on any Windows platform, including Windows 3.x, Windows 95,98,2000,ME and Windows NT 4&5.
